Pine Castle Help Center & FAQ

Below you can find some of our most frequently asked questions and answers. Have a question that is not listed below? Send us a message using our contact form and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

How did Pine Castle start?

Our organization was founded in 1952 by a group of 33 families of children with IDD. At this time, local programs and schools did not exist to provide services for children with IDD, parents were forced to choose between institutionalization or finding a way to stay at home with their child and develop a curriculum on their own centered around their child’s needs.
